Are you ready for some Beer-Paired Game-Day delights?

Are you ready for some Beer-Paired Game-Day delights?

The big game is less than a week away! Whether you're rooting for the Bucs or the Chiefs, or simply looking forward to some quality time with some hot wings, we have your Crooked Lane pairings here!
Here's what's on the menu in our house:

California Benedict

This recipe subs a citrus/avocado blend for heavy hollandaise, for a delightful California spin on the benedict.
Pair with Blood Simple - Make it a Beermosa with a dash of Champagne!

Bacon-Wrapped Smoked Jalapeno Poppers

These poppers are truly next level.
Ingredients:
12 Jalapenos
1lb Bacon Package - thin sliced is best
Small Tri-Tip (or Elk or Venison, if you have it!)
8oz Cream Cheese
Sriracha
Blackened Seasoning
Begin by cutting a slit in the jalapenos to seed them (the more seeds and membranes you remove, the milder they will be).
Cut some small raw steak strips, small enough to tuck into the jalapeno.
Stuff each jalapeno with cream cheese and nestle in a steak strip. Season with a squirt of Sriracha, then wrap a bacon strip from the bottom to top. Sprinkle the blackened seasoning over the wrapped poppers.
Smoke at 225 degrees for 2.5 hours, or in the oven for the same time and temp.
Pair these spicy smoked poppers with SR16- a hoppy DIPA stands up to the spice and the alcohol cuts the heat!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

This winter veg is as comfortable as food comes. And guilt free!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Trim and halve your brussels sprouts, and toss in a bowl with some olive oil. Spread over a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and sprinkle some sea salt over your sprouts.
Roast for 20-30 minutes, until some edges are blackened (yum!)
Pair this side with Dark Bent Dry Irish Stout. The earthy-sweet flavor of the brussels sprouts complements this rich and chocolatey stout!

Hot Wings FTW

These hot wings are so easy and delicious you'll never have leftovers.
Simply cook your party wings- ~45 mins at 400 degrees in the oven, or ~25 minutes in the air fryer at 400 degrees.
Sauce: One part each Butter, Sriracha and Honey, dash of Garlic Powder
For 1 pound wings, you'll need about 3 Tbs each and 1 tsp garlic powder. Heat and mix, then toss the wings in the sauce.
Pair your wings with 1-2 Punch! Peach and mango will complement the sweet and spicy flavors and bring the room together!
Sound awesome? Pick up your Super Bowl Support Pack here!
What's your favorite pairing? Let us know if you tried any of the above or had some different ideas you think we should try!
Cheers to you and yours! Go Team!
