Judy Jane Ashworth is the Grand Dame of craft beer publicans, and a national treasure of the Craft Beer industry. Her “Farewell to Bud” party in 1986 made Lyon's Brewery Depot the first true craft beer pub in Northern California. She built craft beer with hard work and determination, picking up kegs for her pub directly from fledgling breweries. We toast her achievements for women in craft beer!
